That's inexcusable. The original concept was shown almost a decade ago. I guess a lot of staff were pulled to revive FFIV. I think they rebuilt the title in the Xenoblade mold after the poor reception FFXIII received. Hopefully we'll see the game in 2016, but 2015 looks like it's out.

This just in: Final Fantasy Type-0 HD has been renamed Final Fantasy XV. No comment on the game that was originally titled Versus XIII.

It's not like they are going to admit to Duke Nukeming. Perhaps they spent all their time making an engine and then used it for FFXIII rather than Versus.

hmm what game will come out first? The last guardian or final fantasy XV
such exaggeration in this thread... 50%-60% done since Tabata took over in 2012.
I expect the game to be out by early 2016 at the latest.
