For any fucking game. Do you just not get this? The only reason that the 360 could gain as much ground as it did was because of Sonys fuck ups with the PS3, now all of those fuck ups are gone so the X1 will not stand the slightest chance here.

And what point are you trying to prove by using an exclusive title here? Destiny is available on PS4 and it's marketed on PS4, it's easily possible that 80% or more people in mainland europe that bought a console for this game bought a PS4.

Wii didn't reached 13 million by Sep 30th 2007 too... it shipped.

The PS4 was never going to match the Wii's yearly pace, not while costing so much more. Anyone who was expecting it to always remain ahead was being silly.

The PS4's primary (potential) sales advantage against the Wii will be longevity.

I'm pretty sure when Sony are talking about weekly sales they're not talking WW, (or factoring Japan in) probably talking about US/UK/Europe on a like for like basis. In which the last highest non holiday week for PS4 was like 75k in the US.

Not that I doubt it's done as well as it has, these numbers wouldn't surprise me at all, it's clearly doing well WW as shipments are showing that.

PS4 will track below what Wii did until the four year... the issue about Wii sales was after three or four years... it had record breaking years but after that the sales got really low.

Meh... this boost is not as big as I expected.

Those Destiny numbers are frighteningly close to the preorders.

Also it looks like the Wii U is showing its conservative leadership by going back to a more traditional baseline.
