Wow.... X1 is just pitiful over in Japan. 3000 sales in only its 2nd week is very bad.

So people here are expecting that japanese people buy an inferior model when in EVERY SHOP in Japan has adverts saying that a New an superior model is coming in less than a month. Lol ok

3DS hardware sales should have collapsed after New 3DS announcement. But they didn't thanks to Smash. 

Damn that Destiny PS4 boost! Hopefully PS4 will have a higher baseline from now on. 10k?

Damn... So the X1 is on track to doing only a third of the 360's lifetime numbers in Japan. Why did MS even bother? -__-

Wow, PS4 did really well. I only expected it to sell 16k this week.
X1 is a dead already.

So in Europe (not including the X1's 2nd tier launch) and Japan, the PS3 is outselling the X1 by 2 to 1. How in the world is the X1 getting outsold by its competitor's last gen console?! o.O

This week demonstrates well why we shouldn't declare the PS4 dead in Japan already, wait for the third party games to come and it should at least do half decent.

Oh XB1.  I guess we're looking at sub 1k in the next few weeks.

And the saddest thing is that there's no Star Ocean; Blue Dragon; Tales of Vesperia; Lost Odyssey; Last Remnant or Infinite Undiscovery on the horizon with at least the promise of a bit of a boost.

Anyway, hold on Vita buddy! :(  It's still double last year's sales, but last year had 2000 model incoming soon.  I still think it's going to be up YoY, but it'll be close.

Nice PS4 boost.  Signs of life once the bigger stuff starts landing.

Good Destiny sales.  Epic Smash sales.  Poor Chain Chronicle sales.  At least Toukiden is representing in the top 20.

By the way, is GTA V PS4 releasing in November in Japan as well?  That might sell pretty well.  There's clearly a market for western stuff on PS4 in Japan, and they clearly love GTA V (see: PS3 version's sales).
