Ya think? 2.4k on average as the launch week sales for each of these markets doesn't seem very flash to me. 29 markets (excluding Japan) adding about 50k to the week's numbers means less than 2k average launch week per market. Baseline as a proportion of launch week must be in the 5-10% range so 29 markets looking like adding about 3-4k to xb one's baseline I'm guessing, and Japan chipping in with between 500 and 1000 per week. Pretty much comes out as I predicted that tier 2 will up xbone weeklies by about 5k outside holidays. It's not really something for MS to get too excited about.

You're completly wrong. Poland alone has 100k ps4 already sold, and ps2+ps3 had cumulative lifetime sales of over a million in this single country (both numbers official from Sony). So yes, you can have nice lifetime numbers in those countries (relative to their size and wealth). However, Sony contrary to MS actually cares a lot about Poland, and launched ps4 here in the same time as rest of the Europe.

As for x1 - yes, it was available here from tier 1 launch, and even publishers had published X1 games with polish language before official launch in this country (!). But now MS has run some marketing and promotions, and prices  were slighly lowered. It's still unlikely to make that much of sales, as most of those countries are completly Playstation devoted and don't care about X1.

I don't get the outrage. Such a small boost is still pitiful for a launch week. If it wasn't for Destiny, the PS4 would be comfortably ahead despite the boost.

Yes, who knows how many held off purchasing the PS4 Destiny bundle.
