Popular US retailer Walmart has begun listing a special Super Smash Bros Wii U Amiibo Starter Pack. The new bundle features a copy of Super Smash Bros for Wii U along with Mario, Pikachu and Link Amiibo figures. The set is currently priced up at $99.
Urghh, so much money you are asking out of me this holiday Nintendo loll. SSB + Gamecube Adapter + Gamecube Controller + Amiibo = Goodbye wallet! Sure it's all optional but I need it darn it! And I think it will sell well

@Chy Chy ...lol your math is off amibos are 13 each =so that's 39$ +super smash 60$. =99$ equivalent if you was to but the super smash package with 3 amibos 99$.. So how is this a rip off lol smh....
ChyChy said: Rip off, its more money than buying that all separately.
No it isn't. It's the same price as buying them separately.
Yeah if retail is 59.99 and amiibos are 12.99 the bundle is only a four cents more (separately they cost $98.96). Not cheaper but not a rip-off either. It'll probably have a better packagaing too.
This pricing still makes no sense. Isn't the point of a bundle to encourage people to buy multiple things for slightly less than they would be if purchased separately? Why bundle the game with 3 Amiibos for the same price as they would be separately? What's the incentive to buy this?

Yeah, I think they're hoping the game won't ship much so they bundle a portion of them with Amiibos to get more money and clear the amiibo stocks.

It lets summon a cpu in helper in local multiplayer to tag team against your opponent. You can also train them as your own virtual pet fighter and let them challenege against each other or even yourself. They can go up to level 50 and recognize player's attack patterns. They will also work with Mario Kart 8, Toad treasure tracker, Yoshi Wolly World, and Mario Party 10. Those features are not detailed yet.
They also look cool and look nice on your desk or near your video game collection.
