so 1GB-2GB RAM device performance can be on par with console 8GB RAM... Sony & M$ must be really flop in making hardware huh...

what is more concerning is the fact he believes that not the fact he is wrong.
EA mobile exclusive in the future lol?
Lol remember when EA said the next gen consoles are like a generation ahead than the most powerful gaming PC you could get? Go home EA, you are ALWAYS drunk
Edit: Here is the link of when they said that

Ye, no they arent.
This guy's in charge of EA mobile so he's probably just trying to make the mobile space appear as relevant and cutting edge as possible.
He's wrong of course. Not even nVidia with their Tegra K1 marketing made this claim.
Well consoles will always be behind anyways.

This aside I don't see how, by any measure other than possibly resolution, you could even claim that the iPhone 6 or any other mobile device is in even the same ballpark as systems that draw orders of magnitude more power. Apple can't actually do magic. |
The guy has no idea what he is talking about, and he doesn't care if it's right or wrong, that how he can lol
I'm not even sure there is a grand strategy, it's just free marketing for him, talk about EA, and good if it associates even just a little the EA name with a successful device and company.
Funny story, the same money that would buy you that "new" phone would net you both an X1 and a PS4 and leave you with change to buy a few games for both. Sickening huh?
As for this EA exec, no shocker here, someone from EA who doesn't have a clue, if he was seriously referring to PS360 as next gen machines he should publically retire from the company.
