Remember that Microsoft has a marketing deal with NFL for Madden, a marketing deal around $400M...

Yea, the investors probably aren't too happy about that deal, now.  $400M, and for what?  The PS4 to still outsell you in the month of release.  They aren't really netting much of anything from that deal.  That's why I've been saying I think 2014 is going to be the last year you really see these BIG moneyhatting deals from Xbox.  After this year, if things keep going as is, investors are really going to be breathing down their necks about all the wasted spending.

Hey Boutros, why do you even wait until the NPD results before you put "PS4 #1" in the title? Or why put it in the title at all? You might as well put "3DS beats Vita" in there while you are at it.

PS4 IS number 1 again. Why shouldn't that be in the title?

Below are the PlayStation highlights from the August NPD report:

· PlayStation 4 was #1 in hardware sales for the eighth consecutive month and remains the cumulative leader for next generation game consoles.

· PlayStation led the month for next generation software with Madden NFL 15 for PS4 taking the #1 spot for overall software sales.

· Diablo III: Reaper of Souls Ultimate Evil Edition and Madden NFL 15 had their strongest sales on PS4 and were the biggest third party releases of the month.

· The Last of Us Remastered continues to have strong momentum on PS4; it was the top selling first-party title in August.

· For the third consecutive month, PlayStation was #1 in combined home console hardware sales (PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3).

Don't be too quick. Vita will top 3DS as soon as it gets Minecra-

Oh.

Because Sony's PR statement is already avaliable... They announced they were top selling console and that PS3+PS4 > XB1+XB360

Because the title is for important information, hence why "3DS beats Vita" is not put there. Everybody knows that long before the NPD results are coming in.

And...?

If you don't like how he does the thread, then why don't you do them yourself from now on.  Besides, PS4 being #1 is the only real concrete thing we have as far as HW sales go.

That's what you get Looool
