That's it? o.O X1's sales will most likely be frontloaded because its library isn't appealing to the Chinese. There are a lot of MMO's in China that are on PC-only and I mean a lot! Having only a few won't sway the Chinese consumer in the long run...

Yes, Neverwinter and Powerstar Golf are sold with every XB1.

Yes, Powerstar Golf and Neverwinter Online are sold with every XB1.

That doesn't make the X1 any more appealing... I played Neverwinter and it had a lot of potential. However, it lacks a lot of support and the classes are really unbalanced. My hunter ranger... holy crap. She could wreck everything with the charge shot/spreadshot combo even if underleveled.

China wont be much of a player at all......consoles are not attractive there, especially not the x1 lineup, it is rife with poor people, piracy and a culture that likes f2p, and mmo's both of which ps4 will have more of. People banking on China are in for a rude awakening/

Well, ok. I am a well know Sony fanboy, if you don´t know that already... 100k pre-orders are like 20 times the pre-orders the Xbox One and the PS4 combined got here in Brazil. And Brazil is the 15th biggest gaming market of the world (600k consoles sold every year and growing fast).

You better believe that  Sony and Nintendo are thinking the same that I am about China, they will want to put their spoon in that delicious Yakimeshi soon enough.

First, only around 4~5k pre-orders were taken from the observable data sources after August 15. No idea about in-store situation though.

Sure XB1 could sell 1 million first year.
But MS need to do three things:
1. Dont two-way region-lock the Chinese Version.
2. Get those csrs properly trained and get more kinect games approved.
3. Get China Telecom to offer a competitive deal like two-year internet contract + XB1 for ￥5999 or so.

Cause I am brazilian and I live in Brazil. Also, Brazil is one of the BRICs contries, just as China.

Also, Brazil is, like China, one of the countries that no longer need USA and can (and are) actually lending money to America, which is unheard of.

And finally, because Brazil is the fastest growing video game market in the world and I am contemplating that China can take away that position from my contry. For one thing, China have 1.4 billion people, Brazil have 190 million...

China have huge poverty, but the population with 30K+ income/year are in getting cloe to 200 million. 200 freaking million! The big three will want to bring the big guns to China, just wait.

Lije the rumor who keep saying that the xbox one was a huge success in japan because it was on top on preorder on amazon.jp for one day.
