Not sure if you're serious or just joking... Did you forget big system sellers effects ? Like, i dont know...Destiny ? GTAV? COD ? Fifa ? Assassin's Creed ? Far Cry? and what about black friday ?and christmas ?

It's already at 11M right now( like i explained earlier) and you expect it to sell only 4M with all the big releases in 4months and with december ?

yep, and I am still goiong to stick by those numbers. The big systems sellers like watch dogs, Fifa and The Last of Us remastered and such still didn't move many more to get to those numbers. Black friday and christmas, yeah, they will move a lot but like I said, I am not expecting more than 4 million between them. Also, the numbers are 10 million now. It hit like 10 million like a week or two ago, It did not sell a million consoles in that time. But for my sales numbers, I expect about 600-750k this month,  750-900k next month, and then about 2-3 mil over November and december. That's why I said 15 mil was possible.

I think there are people that still believe the X1 and/or Wii U is gonna outsellf the PS4 aswell. Theres always people that believe something, however unlikely it is. :)

You forget that sales during the last 4 months of the year are totally different from sales during the rest of the year.

So like i explained earlier, PS4 was at 10,3M 2 weeks ago ( official numbers compared to VGC numbers show how much it's undertracked), it sells 150k each week, so before Destiny launch, it was at 10,6M, simple maths. And if you think Destiny+ White PS4 will make sell less than 400 000 PS4, you will be surprised.

Easily. 1 Million in September, BF week & during the last two weeks of December. That's already 14 Million without counting the rest of the weeks.

Everyone? I think most rational people thought 16 million was quite possible when Sony announced 5 million back in January. It's only the blind, desperate and delusional who think PS4 can't reach 16 Million before 2015.

3 million in December alone is all but guaranteed, PS3's worst December before PS4 launched was 2.3 million. Its December performances, during the period is was available globally, not just globally in the USA) were 2.5M, 2.3M, 3.9M, 3.4M, 3.5M, 2.6M. Yet you think between Nov AND Dec PS4 might do as little as 2 million, 300K less than PS3's worst world wide December? And PS3 has never did less than 1 million in November while it was the current gen console and available worldwide. 4 million is pretty much the minimum expectation for Nov and Dec, and 1.8 million is certainly achievable between 1 Sept and 31 Oct. And that gives us 16 million.

14 million as the upper limit of what you are certain about is farcical.

We also have Destiny appearing to have sold 7 million units across all platforms, even if the sales are evenly shared across all 4 platforms that's still 1.75 million for PS4, and is more likely to be over 2 million. That's going to shift a lot of consoles.
