Doing it for collection purposes, the amiibo integration in smash bros sucks to put it frank. Then again, i understand the decision, locking out content isn't nintendo's style

Im buying Amiibo to have Amiibo. Smash implementation is crap but a nice Nintendo figure is nice =D
Hopefully other games use them a lot better in the future.

I might buy one or 2 of them for the looks.

Im definitely buying two:
- Villager and Yoshi
While im still thinking of
- Pikachu and Kirby

They look really good, and not too expensive for me

And plus, i have most of the game which will also work on it  

I will eventually be buying Smash for Wii U and then shortly after I will get a few Amiibos. Probably Samus, Link, Star Fox and of course Mario. Of course I just recently bought Smash Bros Brawl for Wii so it may be some time before I jump on Smash for Wii U. I will, however, be getting Hyriule Warriors and Bayonetta 2 on release!!

The collector in me is too strong, ill be buying them for collection purposes and might use a few for smash to see how hard they can get to fight.

I'll probably get 2 or 3 early on: I think Fox and Link, maybe Samus. And then see if I like them. My partner will probably end up with Marth or Pikachu.

I love the ideas of character customization inside the games using these figurines and how they can be compatible with other games as well. I'm buying all the amiibos available at launch, except Wii Fit Trainer.. I don't think I'll ever use her.
