How can you review all the content from the game in one day?

Why not just read some previews, then?

Screw reviews: play the game for yourself and if you didn't enjoy it, send it back for a refund or sell it used. You should be able to recuperate the majority of your funds. If you did enjoy it, congratulations.

Would be nice if the developers would give the game to the reviewers a few days prior to release.

Playing online is a lot more crucial and centralized to the game than most. They have to experience that aspect before they can make a full review.

Because two, very widely reported betas wasn't enough to sidestep the need for a review core to convince you if you want it.

Because reviews of an online-only game the day it's servers go live are going to be accurate and dependable.

As an ex-reviewer, I will say this, reviewers-only online play for reviewing doesnt work - you spend most of your time trying to connect or run in to someone, or find anyone worth playing - reviewing online elements of a game and doing so accurately REQUIRES a real world retail release environment.

If it didn't have an alpha and beta i would agree with you, but it had the biggest and most participated in beta in the history of videogames, i'm pretty sure if they had something to hide it would have been outed then.

No there should be review a few days before. No one should be allowed to blindly buy something only to find out 2 days later it was a broken or bad game. Other forms of entertainment has reviews before release dates, but how come players should have to wait.

At least a movie ticket isn't 60 dollars.

Back in 90s people didnt had any early reviews. And gaming was better at that time. So my post is correct.
