Mario Kart 8 easily, free DLC, entertaining purchasable DLC, highlight reel posting to Miiverse and youtube, better online connectivity, improved graphics, ect.

A worse though still included battle mode doesn't take that much away.

Pikmin 3 no contest. The rest of the gmes just feel like improved visuals and maybe better online, wich either are not atributed to the game put to the console wich has more power and a better online interface. Pikmin does it for me cuz it addes fetures like multyplayer coop wich was a huge diference to the previous pikmin and I can say that it plays like nothing before, while the other ones still feel like its the same pretier game. It also had good dlc and improved graphics.

It takes genuine talent to see greatness in yourself despite your absence of genuine talent.

I want to say Pikmin 3 because there was no Pikmin for Wii besides NPC. However I always end up playing my other Wii U games over it. I enjoy the game, but after I finish with one day level, I can't play the next one until tomorrow.

Maybe its because I got it for free so I have less incentive to finish it >_ I also haven't gotten all gold cups in MK8 and the last world unlocked in 3D World and those are more exciting IMO. But again, its because Pikmin 2.5 didn't exist on Wii that Pikmin 3 gets the most improvement.

It is MK8 without a doubt. 3DW offers a fantastic step forward (backward?!?) in gameplay, but only a minor one graphically when compared to Galaxy. It also is a step backward in terms of theme, innovation and presentation.

I view Zelda WWHD as a bit of a step forward form SS as well.

Froma graphical point of view, i think MK8 might be the biggest evolution. From gameplay point of view i dunno as i havent played them all.

Mario Kart 8 definitely does it, with more gameplay refinements but also moving the game up, not just a graphical leap forward expected of a generation, but from one of Nintendo's less-graphically-intensive games to one of their most graphically intensive games, and coming so early in the gen, too.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Visually all of them, they look great in HD. Gameplay wise it would be 3D World, the game is just packed with surprises and innovation.

If you exclude the NPC versions on the Wii, then Pikmin 3. Great graphics, greatly improved controls and excellent implementation of the map and multi-tasking.

As good as the other first party games are, they could have been done on the Wii.

The Wii would melt if it tried to run MK8 with more than 2 AIs

Even without any AI, the textures, lighting, resolution, etc are simply impossible on Wii.

I think he meant from a mechanical/gameplay perspective though.
