mario kart overtracked by 70k in Europe.

I think this is as of June 30, VG chartz is in August 23 IIRC. I don't think it is impossible for it to have sold 70.000 in a month and 3 weeks.

I am well aware that this is as of  June 30th and it is overtracked by 70k as of June 30th.

Predictions for LT console sales:

PS4: 120M

XB1: 70M

WiiU: 14M

3DS: 60M

Vita: 13M

What do you mean by the 3ds being a no show? Do you mean no 3ds exclusive game is on there? By this logic there is also no game unique to the Xbox1 or Xbox360. Especially when you consider that 17/20 games listed are multiplatform games.

I overlooked that, true. I was thinking about Yoshi's Island, Kirby, Mario Party, etc.

I've never seen a 3DS FIFA14 is stores though... I'll have a better look next week.

It's out there, even the Vita version sells better though. Handheld has probably had a minimalistic impact on sales for any of the games in Europe.

Both lego games here had around the 100k mark on the 3ds in europe alone, that's by no means overlookable sales.

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

Mario Kart 8 is not overtracked, bundled sales aren't included.

By the way, some extra sales data for the first half of 2014 in Europe (so much for Nintendo being irrelevant)

Top 10 Publisher
Software Market Share - Value

01 (01) Electronic Arts - 18,58% (17,25%)
02 (05) Ubisoft - 15,07% (8,54%)
03 (02) Nintendo - 12,32% (11,82%)
04 (03) Activision Blizzard - 9,76% (11,51%)
05 (04) Sony Computer Entertainment - 7,54% (8,78%)
06 (06) Take-Two Interactive - 5,77% (5,07%)
07 (10) Warner Bros. Interactive - 5,26% (2,77%)
08 (07) Square Enix - 4,32% (5,02%)
09 (09) Microsoft - 3,59% (4,11%)
10 (08) Bandai Namco Games - 3,18% (4,22%)

I apologize in advance for my bad english.

I don't trust VGChartz figures in Europe tbh (not saying they're wrong, but the region is notoriously hard to get any accurate sales data from). Though even if they're accurate, the 3DS/Vita contributions can't be too lucrative given all we get now are ports of the Android/iOS touch screen games shoved onto cartridges. We used to get dedicated handheld console releases until they dropped the DS version. (how foolish to think that would have boosted the quality of handheld Lego games :()

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

Comparing Watch Dogs to Mario Kart? One game with an install base of 6.5 and the other with an install base of like 180m+.
Until now I didn't believe anyone was more idiotic than Pacther when it comes to Nintendo hating

That dig at MK8 is both senseless and unnecessary.

Really? They both came out the same day and are the biggest games on their respective platforms, in other words next gen rivals.

AZWification said: That has nothing to do with MK8 being a WiiU exclusive and Watch_Dogs being a multiplatform game obviously!

But it has everything to do with MK being one of the best-selling franchises in gaming history, while Watchdogs is just a fresh new IP. In other words, it's the challenger : do you deny the challenger the right to fight the champion? Who would have bet on Watchdogs to outsell MK8 by such a huge margin one year ago?

It's not Watchdogs's fault if MK8 isn't multiplatform either. If MK8 is that good, people will buy WiiU to play it. Half of Watchdogs sales are PS4 version btw, so still quite above MK8...

Actually MK8 sold more than Watch Dogs globally when you compare the PS4 version of it

Watchdogs domination? Eh! try FIFA domination and FIFA wasn't even released this year!
Now Last Years game being, this years best seller for the first half of the year, Now we are talking about domination
