PS4 has:

A Destiny bundle

Exclusive Destiny DLC

Xbox One has:

Halo 1, Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo 4 all on one disk in updated graphics

Destiny

Exclusive Call of Duty DLC (many Halo/shooter fans like Call of Duty)

The benefit of releasing in many countries the same time destiny releases (destiny will be first game for many)

I think a higher percentage of Xbox One owners will be bungee/shooter fans. PS4 version of Destiny will sell the most of course because PS4 is selling so much but Destiny will give the Xbox One a similar boost to PS4 and sell similarly!

Destiny will not give a similar boost to X1 as it does PS4. Not in the US, and certainly not anywhere else.

You should read some articles about the tier two launches in various countries, MS is barely advertising the thing, so the likelihood of a load of people in tier two countries waiting an extra weekend and going out in their droves to get an X1 when they could get a better version on a far more popular product is virtually non-existent

PS4 as id guess they are more hardcore type gamer's so they will choose the better of the two options, also i see many of them being multiple console owners so they will get their Halo on X1.

I'll say PS4, since they are still the most popular console. It will sell more consoles due to Destiny in a few days from now. I'll assume that Xbox One will sell more CoD games, but those halo and CoD fans mentioned above migrated to PS4, so anything can happen. Also, the master chief collection might rise the Xbox One sales. But how much? Again, anything can happen. But I'm willing to bet PS4 will do better this holiday.

PlayStation. Destiny will sell much better on the PS4.

I think the last two points (in the quote) are not important, extra DLC content, either the Sony exclusive Destiny one or the or the CoD one, I just never paid attention to these shenanigans.

And the simultanous release is just nothing, the PS4 has a bundle, it's possible that just the PS4 bundle outsell the number of Destiny games sold on the XB1.

It seems like you wanted to add some padding to the XB1 "positives" by putting in a CoD related item + the irrelevance of the release in the other countries (if you think Japan and third wave countries will sell enough to give a measurable bump in sales you are dreaming).

I think Bungie fans that loved old school Halo will buy an Xbox One over the PS4. Obviously the game in general will sell a lot more on PS4.
