The Last of Us Remaster wasn't/isn't full price...

I apologize, they were $50 when imo should have been $30-$40

I don't know about that...I was happy to pay $50 for the game, especially considering the DLC that was also included.  I played through on "Hard" and it took me a few weeks to complete, so I think I got my money's worth out of just the single player main campaign.  I still have yet to play any of the multiplayer, or the DLC yet, either.

Everybody is different, its why i dont complain about it.  Just saying i understand why people have complained.  I for one am not going to pay that much money for a game i played only a year ago.

Well, I can certainly understand that!  I didn't play (or buy) the game on PS3, so I have a different perspective on the value.

Well IGN has it wrong, just look at the reveal from Dan Ayub on Youtube he says it right. Can't be more right than the devs themselves. Also you have to know that every exclusives on X1 run on dedicated servers now if it's not simply every games.

Or maybe the devs are just using PR, or you misunderstood. It wouldn't be the first time a dev said something that was misleading, or untrue, or said one thing and had to change it to something else later. As i said only way to know for sure is to play the game. If there are hosts and host issues then I'll know 343 simply lied or meant something else.

In what way do you lie or mean something else when explicitly saying "dedicated servers"?

Same way developers lied about features that would be in games but later removed, or how they lied about what the resolution and frame rates would be but then changed them. Then there is always the possibility that they could have been talking about leader boards, or sharing/recorded videos that would be hosted on dedicated servers. Or perhaps there is only a single game mode that is on dedicated servers while the others are hosted. Or perhaps they were simply refering to AI/other enhancments to the game that were held in "the cloud". All I know for sure is that there are sources that say the multiplayer is P2P which aligns with the fact that they won CEDEC in that very field. http://www.dualshockers.com/2014/07/12/ps4-leads-the-charge-between-cedec-excellence-awards-2014-nominees-faces-off-against-xbox-one-and-wii-u/ So like I said, no way to know for sure until we actually play the game.

MCC and LoZ:WW are the only remakes I've seen this gen that really made sense to me.

ms gives every dev on xone (even indies) free dedicated servers with azure, why would they not give one of their biggest exclusive dedicated servers??

Because azure is used for cloud computing and is used for every single MS online service, not just XBL.

the point??

it´s still used for xbl, other uses are not really relevant for that question

the point which you clearly missed is that the servers are shared, and they are used for cloud computing..
