Sony announced their best smartphone today with a new ability that will definitely be selling point. With the Xperia Z3 you'll be able to play your PS4 game in the same way as you can stream gameplay to your Vita on the Z3(compact) screen. 

Hook-up your DS4 controller with your smartphone (optional mount available) and just play the game over Wi-fi direct/home network. 

Whether this app will be available for the previous xperia flagships phone isn't clear yet but no worries. If you have a Z1/Z2 there'll probably be a mod available after the release of the Z3.

In my opinion this is a big win because now people hesitating between the usual Samsung/Apple flagship will be even more easily convinced to get the xperia Z3 which is also one of the best phones to release soon. I'll download the port of the app on my Xperia Z2 (will definitely happen)

I already figured that this would happen. Soon you'll be able to play your Vita games as well I guess in the same way VITA TV works. Would be perfect with the DS4

Does streaming on vita works ok? Doesnt it have a certain amount of latency? SInce the controller signal goes to the PS4, then the image must go by wifi to the vita, which might not be as fast as a TV to decode the signal and put it on screen...
Does wifi signal is strong enought to stream 720p @ 60h? Juts wondering how can this be as fast as HDMI cable.
Also, is it possible to, lets say, leave my ps4 turned on at home, then go to my parents house and play using their wifi and a vita? Is it fast enough?
