I'm not getting the game myself, so I'll probably just use what my friends have available. Never played Kart enough to get used to the traditional controls, so the steering wheel looks like the most interesting to me.

Everything else: GC controller
GC controller. It's hard enough for a one armed kid like me to even use that.
funny trend here. VGC newbies tend to want to use the Wheel, while VGC oldies tend to want to use GC controller
As for me, if the game is good and I will get a Wii for it. GC controller for me and Wii wheel for whoever playing against me offline. :)

i'll use the wii wheel. i don't really care if it means i lose a bit of precision cause it's just more fun to make the actual motions. i mean, i could play GH on the xbox controller instead of the guitar but what fun is that? I could play a racing game with a analog stick but why would i choose it over an actual steering wheel?

...i think the biggest trend will be in personality.
people like myself, value the experience of playing a game over winning, will use the wii wheel.
others people, value winning over everything else, will use the gamecube controller.
motto of my middle school gym class, "if you had fun you won!". thank god for that phrase cause i never won any of the games we played in gym class by any other measure. xD

how is losing due to the imprecision of the control considered 'fun'?
I mean, doesn't that also classify dying a hundred time because the six-axis sucks in Lair 'fun'?
I don't mind losing myself, but I rather lose because I'm not good enough, not because I was handicapped by the control scheme.
