That would make sense if were talking about Phil Fish or something. The man is teasing something is my guess. Nintendo owning the IP won't stop him if he wants to develop for the PS4. Plenty other developers went the spiritual succesor route to have their games on a desired system.

Yeah I was just wondering if he threw a jab out there, I mean there's no motive, but it seemed like it to me

anywhere he makes a game though,im going to buy regardless

True, but like Gabe Newell, who stopped hating when PS3 began doing better, i suspesct Sakaguchi to put aside his hate because of the great performace the PS4 is showing. I wonder if a Lost Oddyssey game could be on the PS4 as well?

From the big three (The Last Story, Pandoras Tower, Xenoblade) Last Story was the least impressive and most boring. My opinion. So I hope Nintendo spends money rather on a Pandoras Tower successor.

He wasn't a playstation hater but rather a PS3 hater. He hated the difficulty of the Cell along with Ken Kutaragi. Both those obstacles are no longer present for modern day Sony so it's entirely possible he could return to develope on Playstation. (Just not with The Last Story as that's Nintendo's IP)

He definitively needs Nintendo approval, but what I'm saying is that Nintendo doesn't have complete control over the IP. They can't develop a sequel if Sakaguchi doesn't want to.
