Given that the Japanese release is literally only a few weeks away, Nintendo seems to view the New 3DS as a new 3DS model...
Tee hee...

Have a nice day...

the fact that is going to have its own exclusive lineup is going to be confusing

it's a new model just like how 3DS XL is a new model but this one has extra features like the DSi had a camera and stuff

it is a 3DS new model nothing more, it has a better cpu, and wii ports are possible, but in all sense is a 3ds nwe model, is not a new system.

Its basically a gameboy color.

Were people confused when that thing came out? It was a gameboy with slighlty better clockspeed and better display.

That got its own games.

it will phase out the old so people will continue thinking its a 3ds any buy as they would a 3ds. What will confuse people is the games not working on the old.

It's not the same as a DSi. This N3DS has its own exclusives. Did the DSi have exclusives? Not that I know of.
Besides that, its name is New 3DS in Japan and Europe (I think), I don't remember reading that it is announced in USA.

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

Doesn't matter. Not that many games will use it.

Think of the thing for the 64, that little red ram catridge that came with like Donkey Kong game. Only a few games used it.

Xenoblade will be only this NEW system, but I don't see too many developers forgoing th emillions of 3DS current owners.

Yes the DSi did have exclusives, in fact it's whole eShop was exclusive. The DS and DSlite both were missing that feature and every game released for it.
