These preorder charts have so many inconsistencies anymore that I have very little trust in them.

Just an example here, last weeks preorders for Tales of Xillia 2:

8
Tales of Xillia 2 (PS3)
Namco Bandai Games, Role-Playing
1 5,216 102,672

First week sales from this week

2
Tales of Xillia 2 (PS3)
Namco Bandai Games, Role-Playing
61,785 61,785 1

That's a pretty big discrepancy.

It happens with every JRPG this site tracks. It's getting pretty lame now.

Pretty sure Destiny has been OT'd for a while now, which explains VG dropping the numbers recently. Everyone of my friends has cancelled their preorder apart from me and one other person, who is only keepign the preorder because I gave them a £5 off code.

Not sure if this speak to everyone but I know a lot of people who didn't like the Beta.

MCC should be over 90k at least now. Constantly in the Top 50 of Amazons charts. Also weekly numbers for Destiny on Xbox One should be closer to Destiny on the PS4. Ever since the beta, the One version has been over the PS4 version on Amazon as well.

not when you combine the single copy (ps4)of the game with the destiny console bundle(ps4),it goes past the xone version

I don't even want to imagine what the PS4 bundle of Destiny will do..

I have a problem believing that:

1) Destiny's pre orders went down. This would be very unusual leading up to the release of a very hyped game.
2) COD XBO is that much higher than the PS4. I do expect it to be higher, yes, especially with bundles, but it's approaching 2-1 ratio and this week was a 4-1, while last week was a 3.5-1 ratio. This while the PS4 has ~700K lead on the XBO in the US.

considering how COD is sometimes seen as a Xbox exclusive by some. it is not suprising. COD on PS consoles are nothing but ports. The majoeity of COD fans play on Xbox anyway. it is to be expected.

why dont you wanna imagine? :P  if you use amazon ranks and vgc numbers you can build a guessimated range for where the bundle is at.   its not exact but it gives you a ball park for the US.

Not that big a discrepancy though. Just look at COD: Ghosts numbers, and at the time, the PS4 and XBO were closer in terms of sales.

yes but there was also the fact that the game was available for last gen consoles, the xbox one was givng absolutely no reason for people to buy, most people were  willing to just buy the game for the 360 the game didnt even look next gen at all. COD will never move console extremely well for MS like Destiny is doing for Sony but I can say it will sell more on the xbox one.
