Forums - Gaming - Miyamoto reminds people they are sticking to hardware.

“As I said before, there are always people who really want to get deeply into a game. We want to create, and they want to experience, something unprecedented all the time. For us to meet these goals, we need dedicated hardware that is designed to cater to the needs of these avid gamers. People might say that software is software. No. A unique software experience can always be realized with unique hardware that has a unique interface. That is why I believe Nintendo is, and will be, sticking to these dedicated gaming machines.”

So just saying they won't go third party.

not saying that they'll go 3rd party or anything like that, but Miyamoto doesn't decide that.

I know he doesn't. Iwata has said the same thing. Miyamoto just has the most influence.

Not within the company. But when the general public(where this statement was aimed) hear's it came from Miyamoto then it is.

Yep. Sega could make Sonic games better when they knew the hardware. Took them a while to get to get used to hardware other than their own.

Good cause I never want them to go third party ever! The last thing I want is for Nintendo to end up like Sega and Sonic

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

Nintendo isn't gonna end up like SEGA anytime soon anyways. It's still nice to hear a confirmation though.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

I don't know why Edge is so insistent on releasing the interview as print only. It's being released piecemeal by other "journalists" anyway.

The people that claim they will go bankrupt and/or become 3rd party are in pure denial.
