I really doubt it. Nintendo would debunk it if it was false. Not to mention the icons for the cups are already in the game. Expect to see a yoshi egg, blue shell, boo, and Shine.

I'm just hoping for a retail edition of MK8 with all the DLC included when they finish releasing them, cuz I don't like buying stuff from the eShop =P

there are 8 tracks coming with each DLC which can easily mean we may see this and actual arenas in the battle mode. If not in these DLC's, then possibly in later ones.

I don't know how I feel about this. I was extremely opposed to other franchises being in Mario Kart, but in person it looks kind of cool. I have to organize my thoughts and feelings before making an opinion.

I do know that after all the hard work Isabelle did for my town, and how quick I was to completely destroy it, she deserves to drive in a Mercedes Benz. :P

I always feared that "Super Smash Kart" would happen to the series. Although I love the added Mario stuff and new tracks, I'm not sure how I feel about Link racing around with the Mario characters...

irstupid brings up a great point, I wonder if this mean games like Mario Party, golf, tennis etc. will get cross overs too. I dont see why not I see no negatives to adding more characters. @ bolded; I would imagine the 'sold out' tag is just a placeholder, since the DLC won't be available until november (and the 2nd pack not until may next year). It wouldn't have been on sale yet. Also, it's DLC - that's digital. They can't sell out.


You could preorder it. I think the reason it says sold out is because this was an accidental leak onto the site.
