With lousy Wii U sales follows lousy game sales. Though many titles have shown no hope on Wii U and have created little traction for the system, Mario Kart 8 seems to be proving that hope still exists, as it is the first of many major titles being released for the system. But my question is how long will Mario Kart 8 stay on the top 10? I personally am predicting it will be there for the rest of the year, if anything the lowest it will go will be position number 15 but I think it will at least stay number 10 or higher for the rest of the year and possibly longer. Tell me what you think

Who knows at this point... It's legs are incredible. Usually most games make a nose dive after a month, but MK8 manages to maintain a baseline of 80k and only seems to fall by 1k-3k per week which is insane.

well... Pokemon X and Y still pop up in the top ten so....and Mario Kart 8 is supposedly some of the biggest if not the biggest nintendo game.

for a while I only seeing ps4 destiny staying in the top ten for a while with xbox being 2nd last to exit

I think till September.

I expect to see in the top10 next year.

plus it got a 5k boost in japan last week so it might still be above 70k for 2 more weeks O_O

Mario Kart 8 sales typically stay on top of Wii U sales by roughly 15k at this point so who knows?

I now expect Wii U sales to stay flat in September following a fall in August. That means that Mario Kart 8 will most likely maintain 50k/week as a minimum in September.

We know that in the end of the year these games will be top 10

Destiny, the new Call of Duty, the new Pokemon, Smash Bros 3DS, Smash Bros Wii U.
Although I wouldn't be surprised if Mario Kart gets a big boost in December.

It'll stop being on the top 10 when Nintendo wants it stop.
