Forums - Nintendo - What Nintendo should do for the future!

Nintendo brings innovation to the industry that a other (just one) company loves to copy. Nintendo save the first crash. The Wii brought more people into gaming. I know for sure the Playstation couldn't keep gamers playing. The Playstation market has been on a decline sense the PS2.

Care to mention that one company that loves to copy nintendo?

The people that the Wii brought in to gaming can't even be compared to the amount of people that the PS1 and PS2 not only brought in, but even held them, into gaming.

Of course the PS market has been declining since the PS2. It's the best selling console of all time. They can't create a new record breaker every gen. Nintendos market decreased every gen from the NES to the GameCube, and it will decrease from the Wii to the Wii U as well.

But none of your "reasons" explain why gaming would die without Nintendo. Would you care to provide some real arguments?

Nintendo did bring more people into gaming but it seems they couldn't keep them.

The PS3 still sold great and Nintendo was on a decline since the SNES until the Wii and it seems they're going to continue that decline.

You don't know if Nintendo couldn't keep gamers.  This gen is not over yet. You're talking "it seems" with Nintendo.  But with the Playstation 3 from PS2, well.

You can't be serious, lol.

You would be an excellent replacement for Iwata. I feel you should apply for the job.

If you mean "gaming wouldn't exist in the form that it does now, if nintendo hadn't existed ever" then you're right, but you are saying that gaming will die if Nintendo goes. That is just crazy.

As I said, if you could give me reasons as to why gaming would die without Nintendo, then go ahead.

Sony'll still make consoles, MS will still make consoles. Third parties will still make games, Sony will still make games, MS will still make games, indies will still make games.

#Ka-Pi-for-CEO ?

I'd say that the 3DS wouldn't be the success it is now without the (promise of) Pokémon.

Give me a good Pokémon game on the Wii U, and then this'll at least seem viable.
