Forums - Movies & TV - Bad Theater Experiences, Is This Common?

Last time I went to the theater there was an annoying woman next to me who burst out in loud laughter, applauded or shouted out every time there was something funny in the movie. Some people have no class.

I try to go on odd days and times to avoid crowds as always seems to be a laugher, talker, cryer, or texter if I go opening weekend for a big movie.

The big problem in theaters these days is everyone putting their feet up on the chair in front of them. It isn't even comfortable, it's just a dick move that everyone does to look cool or something. I've even said this to people I'm with, and they say the rule is that if nobody is in the seat in front of you, it's not rude. Yet, in normal theaters, all the seats are connected. If someone has their feet on a chair at the end of my row, I still feel it and it's incredibly annoying.

For that reason, I mostly go to premium theaters now with loose seats because I just hate dealing with that.
