RPGs > JRPGs IMO

Don't you mean WRPGs >JRPGs?

Didn't think I had to specify. I don't really combine the two when I hear just "RPG". Mainly think of JRPG as a completely different genre.

I played a ton of Halo and Halo 2 in college. A ton. Game after game after game. It was so much fun. It was great the way we would split teams into different rooms of the house, and you could hear them yelling from down the hall when something crazy happened. The Xbox still doesn't hold a candle to the Gamecube.

Metroid Prime. I really don't need to go on after this. I guess I will anyway.
Metroid Prime 2
Eternal Darkness
Luigi's Mansion
Mario Kart
Pikmin
Pikmin 2
Resident Evil 4
Super Mario Sunshine
Rogue Leader
Smash Bros

All great games. And then there are the countless hours I spent on multiplats not listed here. Probably a bunch of other games I never played. Great console. Too bad it didn't sell what I think it deserved.

Now Playing
Switch - Super Mario Maker 2 (2019)
3DS - Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (Trilogy) (2005/2014)
Mobile - Yugioh Duel Links (2017)
Mobile - Super Mario Run (2017)
PC - Borderlands 2 (2012)
PC - Deep Rock Galactic (2020)

The only Xbox games I really liked were Ninja Gaiden Black and a few of Sega's more offbeat offerings on Xbox, but the Gamecube still blew the Xbox away. At times I even liked Gamecube better than PS2.

Xbox had kotr 1-2 and morrowind.

Sure neither were "exclusive " but neither were on gc either.

Xbox wins for me because i go where the rpgs go and Nintendo started abandoning rpgs on console with gc for most part.

But the original X-Box had zero JRPG's at least the Gamecube had a couple pretty good ones in Skies of Arcadia and Tales of Symphonia.

Neither are rpg powerhouses but seems since gc Nintendo can only manage a few rpgs per home console ( wii u has only 1 i think currently MH)

However as much as i love tales series morrowind is one of my favs all time and if not for xbox I'd never have played it.

Eternal Darkness, Twilight Princess, WindWaker...Gamecube hands down.

Xbox.

The Warriors
GTA San Andreas & Vice City & III
Halo 1 & 2
Dynasty Warriors 5
Shenmue II
Fable
Forza

But its only my opinion :)

I'd go with the Gamecube, it had two Metroid Prime games.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

I didn't game on the Xbox so GameCube win by default, though I didn't like the GameCube very much.

I never owned an Xbox, but I did (and still do) own a GameCube and I love it. I still play it occasionally.

Resident Evil REmake, Resident Evil 0, SSBM, Wind Waker were all amazing exclusives. And it had some other games that I love dearly like Tales of Symphonia that while also available on the PS2 was not on the Xbox.

I had a gamecube and ill just say metroid prime is insane!
gotg imo
