So if you release more software, people will buy more software?

Nintendo finally found their secret recipe.

I'm detecting some sarcasm here: you speak as though Nintendo didn't already know this.

Well if they knew of it before the next question would be why they didn't act upon it earlier.

So we can choose from either ignorant or incompetent. I like the first one. What's your choice?

Incompetent, its best not to sugarcoat corporate idiocy.

Because you can't be both. You can't be incompetent about something you don't know exists. And you can't be ignorant of something you're competent in.

You could do it in succession though. First ignorant and then incompetent.

I'm still going with ALWAYS.

I like the third option: games cost huge amounts of time, money, and resources to make, and one company can only do so much while supporting two different platforms that aren't directly compatible.

(Just ask Sony and MS and their, in relative terms, anemic first party output.)

It was a no brainer this game would do well. And it will do well.

Warriors is huge in Japan. Zelda is huge in NA and Europe. IT's a win-win.

Last year didn't have MK8 adding to the software sales total though as well. I estimate 78k first week hyrule warrior sales.
