i dont think they are very concerned with the way they treat women in general and are more concerned with sexism in videogames... which wasnt the issue but maybe it's their justification for the behaviour of forum posters

I've never actually seen sexism here so can't comment on it.

It's simple - because women prefer posting on facebook than forums. That and the fact that vgchartz doesn't have a mobile-friendly website.

I'm not saying that I just hid in a corner for about 3 days in embaresment... but theirs a good chance I did.

Because kitchen jokes are used too often in the gamer community.

There are a bunch of women here: they always post in my wall about 80% off Sales, Internet oportunities and prescriprition drugs with choice great prices. I think they have a crush on me or something...

By the way, the reason is: no woman wants to hang out with men that enjoy little plastic toys, comics, cards and video games. The few that do get scared with all the horny men atention they get here, so they leave. It is my theory some of they come back as dudes, BOYS DON´T CRY style:
