So you guys are HONESTLY telling me your first inclination as an auditor is to just believe everything the company tells you? Because if that is what you put down in your audit workpapers, I can tell you now, the PCAOB is going to find significant deficiencies in your audit standards, and you will likely be sued (and lose) for every single audit you signed off on that then is deemed to have material mistatements.

An associate at an accounting firm has never, and will never be required to have a masters degree. They aren't even required to have a CPA when hired, it is just pushed for you to finish it.

Whats even more ironic is that very few auditors do get a masters degree, even up to the partner level. It is largely considered unnecessary (it is seen as a little more important on the tax side of things).

Bro, of course it's not 100% accurate but I will tell you this, Sony's tracking is infinitely more accurate than VGC. To debate otherwise is absurd. Sony and other manufacturers pay very, very good money to get the bwst information possible. So yes, if they said they're at iver 10 million, they're very likely as sure as possible about it. VGC not updating to reflect that is an embarrassment

About finances not close to the penny... Where I work all the expenses must be proved by a fiscal document (purchase order, work order, expense reporter) and show the exact amount to be processed. And altough in the end all the numbers aren't exact to the sent, to allow a bogus number in your book is a crime... so please stop with your better than all atitude.

Lets just say this. If VGC were a leader in this industry they wouldnt be adjusting their numbers based on the big boys. Other trackers would adjust to VGC.
Thats just a fact, and until you accept it, like most of us have, you will never enjoy this website for what it is. A general weekly barometer loosely resembling the overal market.
This website doesnt make its money based on subscriptions or its tracking service, its from ads. That is why i have to mute my speakers everytime i visit and the website is cluttered as all hell.

See those websites? See this website? I count 5 banner ads on just the main page of VGC. A 20 second ad prior to being able to enter the main website. Banner ads throughout the forum. End of discussion. Most of us know it, most of us accept it. It is not to take away from the fun this place brings. But this argument that people are having is ridiculous. This place is not a defacto tracker, it is a videogame hub/blog/forum.
