If not, it's hard to think of what could be said to someone who even thinks that the PS4 is hated on more or equal to either the XB1 or WiiU.

When TLOUR was announced, people complained about it. Mostly about all of the remasters coming to this gen. The rest complained about the obvious cash grab. For the most part, the game itself is very well respected.

But, M$ announces the TR sequel is exclusive and there have been 50+ threads directly about this or indirectly about this. In almost every thread, people comment about how gaming is ruined by the deal and the SE/MS are evil.

The reality is that the PS4 has sold almost the same amount as both the WiiU/XB1 combined. That makes its userbase VERY large. It's not surprising that there are many more people posting against the XB1/WiiU based on that fact alone. The difference is usually in the tone of the postings. Most of the XB1/WiiU haters are very blunt and won't even allow for conversation without belittling anyone who disagrees with them.

So my answer to the OP is NO, the PS4 doesn't get hated on much.

OP browses on some special secret Internets where everyone shits on the PS4. Or maybe it's a matter of perception. I know here on this forum it's certainly not the case. Nor GAF. Xbone gets shit on the most at those two places.

If you ask me, the GameCube was the most hated console during the 6th gen due to its kiddy image and such! :-/

You guys can call me crazy as well xD but i know for sure that some people really really hate Sony brand in general, idk why and i don't care to be honest but there is this hate that i cant understand the reason for it, just take a look at comments made about Sony phones, even the Z2 the perfect and one of the best(if not THE best) phones to date gets a lot of hate in compare to some lower Samsung and LG phones.

IDK what website you go on, but in most tech websites people adore the Z2, much more than Samsung even. On more mainstream sites like Yahoo, the S5 gets a lot more attention, but it's not like the Z2 gets any hate. It's pretty much unanimously agreed that it's a good phone. It's not as popular as the S5 or the iPhone because it hasn't sold nearly as much. It still hasn't even been released to carriers in the USA.

LG gets so much love because they have the best phone out on the market, period. What other manufacturer offers dat 2560x1600 screen?

Some people just hate certain companies and all their brands, every company's got them and we got some people like this on here as well.

Except that was not hate for hate, that was legitimate, these deals are useless for gamers. The game would have existed without microsoft and they prefer to use all this amount of cash to prevent some to play a whole game nstead of creating a new game, so it's common sense to hate the kind of things.

This has nothing to do with TLOU R, those who want hte game buy it, those who dont care dont buy and it doesnt prevent ND to do other games.
