xbox owners dont care about watch Dogs. good for them
this is a "playstation" game

destiny will be completely different.
maybe even xb1 + 360 > ps4 + ps3

 

edit: thought it was a ps3 outsold 360 thread...

but still the same. this is not a xbox one game. never was advertised as that

Well, I played it and was not impressed by the game. So, I can see why there's no big interest from the Xbox camp. Plus the game was basically advertised as a PS4 game so makes sense.

Destiny selling more on MS platforms then Sony platforms? I doubt it. Even though the 360 version is apparently better then the PS3 version This game is going to be MUCH bigger on the PS4 then the X1.

destiny  i expect  ~1,5:1

 

2m xbox one --> 3m ps4

2,5m xbox one --> 3,75ps4

 

okay >50% for xbox family will be near inpossible without huge last gen sales

but 55% ps family vs 45% xbox family is doable. we wont see this "watch dogs thing" again.

SE should be looking at that 2:1 PS4/Xb one ratio and demanding more money out of MS for RTR.

TR PS3 vs 360 is 500K (30%) ahead on PS3 with an equal install base. What would be the sales differential with PS4 being double Xb one's install base if the game was to launch on both systems at the same time?

OT bigger install base with a high proportion of non-motion control casuals, means PS3 still has a decent base of owners who will buy these games.

Why do people keep saying this?

The PS3 version has been outlegging it quite easily. The XB1 version hasn't even been in the top 75 lately. Secondly, the XB1 version sold 750k FW while the PS3 version sold 535k (VGC), yet the PS3 version is now quite comfortably ahead (and increasing its lead). There's no chance the X1 version is going to catch up when it's losing badly week after week.
