Why do people keep saying this?
The PS3 version has been outlegging it quite easily. The XB1 version hasn't even been in the top 75 lately. Secondly, the XB1 version sold 750k FW while the PS3 version sold 535k (VGC), yet the PS3 version is now quite comfortably ahead (and increasing its lead). There's no chance the X1 version is going to catch up when it's losing badly week after week.
