Hell, I own a PS4 and I admit that there was a draught of AAA PS4 titles this year (2014).

Yes but your in a unique situation. Your basically shopping for a second gaming console. When I was a pc gamer I saw no point in owning a console. It wasn't until I needed up upgrade and I started a career in IT that I switched to consoles. It's very hard to convince someone in your position.

Ehhh....I hate that too. People jump on the whole "no gaemz" bandwagon, but are too ignorant to actually see that the PS4 has more games than the Xbox does, and is on par with the Wii U. Triple A titles are roughly the same between the Xbox and PS, with the Wii U in the lead. Titles are coming and takes time to make. It's not even in it's first year of infancy and people say dumb stuff like that. Crazy. That goes for the Xbox as well.

Not really. Tons of people own PCs and consoles. The main selling point of consoles is exclusives that you can't find on PCs, and the PS4 simply doesn't have very many right now. The few that it has are mostly mediocre (Knack, Killzone, Infamous), and nothing to buy a new console for.

I indeed agree about lack of exclusives looking forward. Sony has changed its focus and i cant see anything interesting coming out besides Uncharted 4. Lets be honest here, Sony is not in a status financially to invest in more AAA titles. There focus has shifted now to indies and remaster of last generation games.

I bet you that you will hear about Uncharted and maybe god of war remasters very soon. It is very early in this generation to focus on remasters and dedicate your resources to work on old games ( which by the way I have bought most of it on PS3)

I bought a PS4 to play new games, not games which i played last generation.I bought a PS4 because of Sony's history of supporting new Ip's and awesome games. I am not seeing any of this and I hate indies........

How about the games you get on PS+? did you have enough indies........

I've said this before and I will say it again, I have 15 boxed AAA games... and there are still some on my list to get... other titles (Digital), I have about 10-15.

There are tons of games, though what is missing right now is the lack of massive blockbusters, there are still lots of games..

This month we have Diablo and Metro - ok no new titles as such, but still something to play. After September, these people should go away because there are way too many games coming out in the next 6 months.

Being a PS customer from the PS1. I'm inclined to agree that there's a lack of AAA titles. It's actually been worse in the past but unnoticed due to backwards compatibility which the ps4 lacks unfortunately. My only ps4 game since launch is KZ:SF. I do understand that things will take a turn for the better starting this fall. However, the first year of the ps4 was definitely lacking IMO

You're breaking rule number 1. If any game on the list is playable on any other platform in any shape or form, it is immediately rendered unplayable on your PS4. Like your PS4 will literally show a pop up saying, I'm sorry, this game can be played on other platforms, please remove this disc and try again. For realz.
