I've had some fun nights playing Minecraft with friends but I wouldn't describe it as the game of the decade. Markus "Notch" Persson got kinda lucky with branding the game, community and himself.

Everyone can try the classic version for free to see if they like it.

The Wii U and Nintendo needs Minecraft badly - they are going to lose out on a generation of gamers if they don t get it on their platform(s)

Go look at some of the big Minecraft Youtubers views - it is unreal . Everyone of my 8 year old sons friends follow and or play Minecraft devotedly - there have and will be many parents this holiday deciding not to buy a Wii u because it does not have Minecraft on it
