WiiU overtracked, likely higher at start of July (given June).

So probably at 12 - 15k a week now in US?

Average in June - 28k

Week 1: 25k
Week 2: 23k
Week 3: 19k
Week 4: 15k

Total: 83k~

I'd say about 15-17k now and dropping slowly. When will its next game come out in the US?

Hyrule, late September. August sales will be interesting for sure given absolutely no software is releasing again, and the MK bump will wear off even more. Perhaps about 50k?

wii U needs a price cut.

No, what they really need is more software.  If they were smart, they would emulate the 3DS (or 2DS) on the Wii, use the WiiU pad to emulate the touchscreen on the 3DS, and offer 3DS games via download or via a cart adaptor.  There are a LOT of 3ds games I want to play, but I have zero interest in another handheld unit...let me play the games on my big screen at home and I will buy a WiiU tomorrow!

Why not both? Of course price drop would help too.

About wii U emulating 3DS, i think it is not possible. wii U was not thought to do this. They cant do a simple crossbuy/crossplay between a comon game like shovel knight

Where is Toastboy and his thing about X1 rocking in the games department? Because I have something for him:

* PlayStation 4 games accounted for more than half of total next generation software sales.

Well when TLOU:R is released and no other big name games its not a fair comparison of a snapshot.

I think the issue with crossbuy/crossplay on Shovel Knight was more political than technical...

Are you implying that a remaster selling enough to be 1st place is the greatest part of PS4>X1+WiiU in USA even with Mk8 and other Multiplats??? It didn't sold 1M by itself.

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

There will be a Nintendo "fusion" platform, sooner than later I'm thinking at this point. Nintendo will bail on the Wii U once they have completed Zelda and thus given the Wii U a prerequisite amount of Nintendo IP.

TLOUR at numbers 1 with only 3 days on sale! lol such an epic game that will enjoy great legs if the PS3 version is any indicator :-O
