Forums - Sales - European Software Sales: 2014 Top 20 Half-Year Software Chart! (Includes Watchdogs 2mil+ /Titanfall/MK8....

Those are good numbers for MK since its just 1 month of sales and considering the relatively low Wii U install base in Europe.

This is a popular IP and must own game for Nintendo console, so its not surprise to sell well in small base becasue there no other better game so far than this or choices for them to play mostly.

GAMING is not about spending hours to pass/waste our time just for fun,

its a Feeling/Experience about a VIRTUAL WORLD we can never be in real, and realizing some of our dreams (also creating new ones).

So, Feel Emotions, Experience Adventure/Action, Challenge Game, Solve puzzles and Have fun.

PlayStation is about all-round "New experiences" using new IP's to provide great diversity for everyone.

Xbox is always about Online and Shooting.

Nintendo is always about Fun games and milking IP's.

NPD doesn't count the sales from the bundles in the US, but Gfk does it in Europe.

For UK, they count the bundles if the game can be sold separately. For example, They count Titanfall but they don't count Kinect Adventures or Wii Sports.

I don't know about these charts and how do they calculate the value.

I'm confused now... Chart-Track (UK) counts them, but media control (Germany) doesn't. It's weird because they're both GfK...

The numbers don't represent Europe as a whole. But MC is likely close. Don't know why I thought that.

GT6 is more than 80k undertracked though. We show 357k as of the end of July (for the whole Europe) while this shows 438k for 20 European countries as of the end of June. I'm sticking with 150k

@Minecraft PS3: Uhm, it launched at the end of May this year on PS3. It's been outselling the 360 version quite easily in Europe so far.

GT6? meh, its slightly undertracked in the grand scheme of things. So it might be at 2.55m rather than 2.4m.  Still got a way to go for this though...  (in the spirit of the recent bumping trend that I know you enjoy)

and boy was this optimistic....

Of course minecraft PS3 has been outselling the 360 version since its launch... The 360 version has sold over 12 million already.  lol

Yeah and I can admit I was wrong. The undertracking isn't "irrelevant" since that's precisely what we're looking at with this thread. Oh and you can't say how much GT6 is undertracked overall since this isn't the whole of Europe and it lacks the rest of the world where GT is also somewhat strong.

You said the PS3 version of minecraft had sold badly. You didn't even know when it launched. In just over a month it sold that much and will top the 360 version easily in Europe. It has had years to sell on 360 while it launched in December online on PS3 iirc (and sold 1m in a month). It's probably close to 4 or 5m by now.

Titanfall looks a bit overtracked. Probably on One. I'd bet that the retail sales of the PC version are on the low side on VGC
