Forums - Sales - Why is no one talking about the soft XB1 price drop

With exception to the COD 1TB "premium" bundle, every other bundle MS announced for the XB1 includes a game and still comes in at $399. Unless I am mistaken. Thats quite literally the second price drop from MS this year, even though its a soft one.

What kind of bearing do you think this will have on the sales of the XB1 going into this holiday season? Hot or bust? if hot could this prompt sony to make a price drop of their own? And if bust what would it mean for MS when even having an NFL, FIFA and sunset overdrive bundles all at $399 still doesn't do anything for its sales?

MS has been doing this since launch. Mainly because they're digital versions of the game and because they make up the cost by having a good tie ratio.

Pretty much none effect. Still gonna get obliterated by the competition.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

Doesn't mean the consoles won't sell.

No one talks about it because everyone's busy discussing TR.

What does it even mean? You think without those bundles the console wouldn't sell?

Xbone has a weak showing this year and beyond, a digital game bundled won't change that. It won't do anything in Europe, MS can as well stop trying, don't think we'll see much in NA, but it's their best chance for not being embarrased by competition's numbers, and I guess there is still hope for Japan and of course China, the new saviour.

Xbox actually has a good line-up. Its pretty much why people are saying they beat Sony at Gamescom.

Neither system has a good line up IMO. All the games I'm really looking forward to are multiplat. The only exclusives that I'm interested in are Bloodborne, The order and Quantum break. Even then those could never be released and I wouldn't care much.

Yeah I expect a $350 or $300 Xbox One by E3 next year at the latest.

Go back to February and let´s revive the same arguments about the Titanfall bundle.

Price always was the problem with the XOne. It should be $450 with Kinect and $350 without. Bundles are just a patche.
