They announced 7 million back on April 16th, so assuming this 10m figure is valid as of today (though they imply it's a little above), the PS4 has been averaging 170k - 180k a week.

VGC needs to come up with a new formula or quit tracking sales. It's becoming embarrassing. 700k under for hardware and 7 million under for software smh.

Well done to the PS4. I honestly can't remember the last time a console with barely anything worth playing sold so well. I guess feeding the masses what they want to hear rather than giving them anything decent to play will get you far enough in this ecosystem.
