OUCH at Japan PS3....

I'd never think it would be NA helping Ps3 get higher sales....lol

we've had many it's "over" for PS3 over the last year..most ate crow

why people say it's over for ps3 when maybe people are waiting for golden week. There's couple titles coming during that week i think.

how is blu doing in japan? if it does well i dont see why it would fall below 20K

I am pretty sure when most people referred to PS3 failing they were stating that the PS3 will never reach a dominate market position like they did the last two generations. Nintendo has taken its casual audience(except sports), and the 360 has taken its casual sports audience. You have 3 groups buying the PS3 now. 1. Sonyboys 2. Gamers who buy it for the PS brandname 3. People who want it for blu-ray/multimedia(have little affect on SW sales)

20k per week is quite good since there are no significant major software release for the past few months

^but it is 13k per week and falling.. PS2 never sold that low as far as I know(not counting 07, or 08)

13k is considerably lower than at this point last year, folks.

Whatever is driving PS3 sales in America right now isn't helping Japan at all and is only having a slight effect in Europe. 

I would argue that Japan had decided on Blu Ray for a long time now and so the dropping of HD-DVD hasn't affected them too much. The same cannot be said about North America, however.

Well anyways It should reach 2 millions in Japan in a week or two.
