It's very fun though it seems easier to control than the previous ones like it's harder to wipe out but then again I haven't played since N64 so maybe I just sucked then

Really good review. Don't disagree with anything you said, except I'd be more generous with the overall score and give it a 9.3/10.

It's based on how far you are from other players instead of position, making it more fair IMO.

Without a doubt the best Mario Kart entry to date: Best level design, best vehicle balance, best item selection and distribution, and by far the best music. And for good measure there is the GamePad functions, the well executed anti-gravity sections and the widely praised visuals that further solidifies the game's position above all others.

But how does it compare with Modnation: Road Trip though? I know you are a big fan, Rol.

Overall a good review but I personally think that the items are extremely unbalanced. I love it when I get the squid, green shell, or banana peel while I'm in tenth or the coin while I'm in 5th so I can't protect myself and get nailed by a red shell. Speaking of coins, there's far too many. Great game except for the horrible item balancing issues.

Now anyone can win if they are in the middle of the pack and have some luck. MK Wii was a much more skill based game. I don't care what anyone says.
