Forums - Gaming - Does the Wii U still have more 1080p 60FPS games than the PS4 and XB1?

awesomeabe1998 on 11 August 2014

A while back it was brought up that the Wii U had more 1080p 60fps games than PS4 and XB1. I am wondering if it still does. As of now:

Wii U:

Bayonetta 2

Rayman Legends

SSB4

MH3 Ultimate

Wind Waker HD

Bayonetta 1

What does the PS4 and XB1 have?

Edit: XB1 and PS4 have more without a doubt. Oh and to all saying that I was trying to prove Wii U more powerful than the others: ofc the Wii U is less powerful! What I did notice though is that many of those games are actually multiplats which is surprising since first parties have a dedicated team to one version.

I don't think that was ever true. Maybe for a month between the release of WWHD and the XBO/PS4 launch.

SSB4 hasn't released yet. Neither has Bayonetta 2. People need to stop doing this.

WWHD is 30 FPS.

I partially agree. People also praised the other two consoles for having 1080p 60fps games that werent released yet as well. Though lets face it the XB1 is struggling to get some 1080p 60fps games.

There is a good amount of sites reporting that it is 60fps.

I don't think so but why does it matter? I'm enjoying my Wii U games independently from their resolution and fps. Don't play graphics. Play great games.

PS4 and XB1 have quite a lot of games running 1080p at 60FPS (without counting all the sports games, indies and games with TBA FPS and resolution like BF Hardline, Project CARS, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, etc.).

PS4:

1080p @ 60fps
Blacklight Retribution
Call of Duty: Ghosts
Diablo III: Reaper of Souls
Dying Light
Flower
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes
Metro: Redux
MLB 14: The Show
Murdered: Soul Suspect
Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare
PlanetSide 2
Resogun
Shadow Warrior
Sniper Elite 3
The Last of Us: Remastered
Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition
Trials Fusion
Trine 2
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End
Warframe
War Thunder
Wolfenstein: The New Order

Xbox One:

1080p @ 60fps
Diablo III: Reaper of Souls (with patch)
Forza Motorsport 5
Halo: The Masterchief Collection (Halo 2 Anniversary not 1080p)
Wolfenstein: The New Order (sometimes 1440x1080)

Those sites are wrong but a lot of misinformation has been spread. The worst offender is Cinema Blend.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine
