If this was ND there would be doom and gloom everywhere.

Well the doom would kinda be deserved since there was a couple of high profile staff left Naughty Dog this year.

It just goes to show that movement  happens in the industry whether it be some one looking to go up the ladder or someone at the top feeling stale and wanting  something new .

In regards to ND turn over is turn over  , it's just their  profile makes it to the front page and you start to see the situation where people who are there two years or even less  being put on the same page as the Amey Henning's  and Casey Hudsons of the world.

Research shows Video games  help make you smarter, so why am I an idiot

Bloody EA, double his pay check, hope he hasn't gone off and wasted his talents on some indie gag. no offense but I cant stand indie games and there taking all the talent from real games

That is a cancerous comment. Please reconsider your closed minded opinion.

Well, I don't mind that you don't like indie games, that's fine. Implying that indie games require no talent or that they are affecting the quality of AAA games is a pissy way of thinking. Indie games usually let the developers take control of the entire project, without a big company messing with the final product. Some developers perfer that.

Again, hate them all you want but at least show some respect for those who choose make indie games.

That is not what im implying at all, dont put words in my mouth. but your other point yes Alot of quality talent is going to small games that are just mindless time wasters like mobile games and yes that does affect the quality of AAA games which im not alone in thinking are the best games and experiences by a long shot.

It will. For the better.

Yeah, my bad, i jumped the gun on that first part. On the second point though, these people are probably choosing to leave on their own terms and if it is so, it's because they were not comfortable with the company or they didn't like the model of AAA game making which can be realy tedious, stressful and costly/risky.

AAA and indies provide different experiences for different people. Matter of fact, the way some publishers/companies treat the games being developed, changing key features to their liking or to fill some sort of agenda, I think a lot of the game's potential and the talent behind it can be wasted when the final product comes out to be completely different from the original idea.

That's my opinion of course, and your last point holds no real weight since some people could think the complete opposite. I personally enjoy my big, uncharted-esque games and the smaller but unique adventures in indie games like transistor.
