Halo 5 comes way too late, the PS4 will already have too much of an advantage and the Wii U will have Mario Kart and Smash. Its really hard to recover from this. Maybe a price cut helps, i dont know.

Even if many users want to deny this, the MCC will move consoles during this holiday season!

I'll go out on a limb and say it.

I think right now even if Microsoft dropped the price even further, to make it $50 cheaper than the PS4, other than a bump in sales for the first week or two, it would go back to being outsold.
People said, when it was $100 more expensive that the price was what was holding it back, but that isn't the case, it's just straight up this.

More people prefer PlayStation to Xbox.

If that wasn't the case the PS3 wouldn't be where it currently is.

Amazon has correctly called the winner every month this year, so its not far fetched to say the bundle is outselling it, just like the regular sku. But all those sales wont come until release. So even if you give it just a 1:1 ratio saying they are even, that adds up to a heck of alot of sales come release.

sure it could be wrong, but it is selling extremely well, and i think some will be surprised by just how well it does

I fully expect it to, but wheres the fun in being almost right?, I'd rather be wrong because it's sold better :P

Thats probably true, but how many? After all its just a remake.

I think its one of those games that will sell to the people who already have the console, but it wont be a big system seller.

The problem is that the PS4 is just the thing to have right now and i dont see a lot of people purchasing 2 consoles this holidays.

If people have to choose between XOne and PS4, the choice for the most people will be the PS4.

It's an amazing game and evidently, it's a system seller. So much for that "TLOU is not needed" thread, seems quite a lot of people did need it and were waiting for it to jump in.

My guess is the PS4 is still undertracked, so it should hit 10 million by the end of August, maybe get close to 11 million by the end of September, and close out the year with 15-16 million. X1....well, good luck MS is all I can say, they're going to need it. I can see them hitting 7 million this year, maybe with very aggressive promotion they hit close to 8 (doubtful in my eyes). The MCC will do good numbers, but unless it's packed in for free along with some heavy promotions (some pseudo price cuts), it won't be the system seller the X1 needs.
