I was one those people. Still kinda freaked that it did so well. As mentioned earlier it is probably a lot of people that didn't own a PS3 last gen but have switched to owning a PS4.

A whole lot of people were also wrong about the Wii U dropping back into the 20k-30k region within a month of MK8 releasing.

A lot of people were wrong (so far) about the price cut giving XBoxOne dominance in N.America.

A lot of people are usually wrong about many things on this site anyway. But that makes it fun.
