They were never called SSB4, good try though

*Ughhh.... Thats Wiki, wats that suppose to do? Its not called SSB4 -_-

There's no helping you i see. Once again SSB for 3DS=/= SSB for WiiU.   These Examples are the same game... MH3G (WiiU) = MH3G (3DS), PSASBR (PS3) = PSASBR (Vita).

Just WiiU?

Halo Mcc will come flying out of the gate and will have fw down pat. I think that smash will win on legs though....

Guess we'll have to just wait and see!

I think Smash, because this isn't a new Halo release its just a HD collection.  Only way I see MCC winning is if Smash comes out really late in the year, like right before Christmas.

Halo might sell more during the holidays but I think Smash will sell more lifetime.

Master Chief Collection 3.5-5 million

Super Smash Bros U 5-6 million

Smash I think beats MCC but Halo 5 will likely pass Smash with about 8.5 million

umm you should read the first line of the wiki page

Nintendo has NEVER refered to super smash bros for Wii u and super smash bros for 3ds as Super Smash Bros 4

lbp3 will sell the most

5-6 million? I think Smash WiiU actually has a chance of outselling Melee! :-/

2 way different games, its like saying if killer instinct was going to outsell first light. the only one i am buying is halo. i have little to no interests in ssmb. i might rent it next year sometime. i think MCC will outsell it.

For this year only it's hard to guess because we don't know for sure if Smash will enjoy this year's US Black Friday sales. If it doesn't, then Halo will win this year. Smash will beat Halo outside the US though regardless. Lifetime should easily be Smash's. Smash is a whole new high-profile release while Halo is 'just' a legacy collection, so it shouldn't have the legs of a real Halo 5.

Personally I'm also not so convinced that the 3DS version of Smash will take that much sales away from the WiiU version. It's still 'just' a handheld game, while Smash will remain primarily a console franchise and the WiiU version will have higher value in the eyes of the consumer. The huge difference in install-base though should guarantee an easy win in the first couple of weeks for the 3DS Smash, but I think lifetime the WiiU version (assuming the system will get to at least 20m) will still convincingly win.
