Playstation probably won't die even if Sony files for bankruptcy since they'll probably sell the division to someone else. 

there is noone that has the know how and want a gaming division. its a hard, risky business and it will not be cheap because its the only good part of sony. they dont have so good movie IPs and not a realy good trackrecord, and the finance division will be buyed by the state for 1Yen,

why? because they will break sonys neck...

There wouldn't be too many options available to buy the division, namely 3. Amazon, Apple or MS

Maybe Samsung too. In fact, they would probbaly buy up most of Sony's divisions if Sony ever filed for bankruptcy. 

I'd say the 3 I mentioned have higher interests in the gaming market than Samsung :)

Yeah but Samsung makes almost everything. Consoles is one notable thing they are missing.
