I wanted 3d, but more of an isometric, Powerstone type camera view

How is it even possible to even add 16 layers in a 2D game?
No. Most games are in 3D already so this game is welcome change from that.

That's what I can't picture. Do you know how deep those levels would have to be.

yeah but they gave an example of how its used practically in the trailer, which shows a tennis court with one player in the background, the other in the topmost layer and the court between them which is probably then comprised of multiple layers
so thats just one example and i'm sure when people get their hands on the tools they'll really go wild with what they create
does'nt make sense in the context of the gameplay in my humbled opinion.
