Am I the only one who wanted a 3D Littlebigplanet? I'm not sure how they would do it, but it could be cool albeit complicated. :/

Nah lbp is a 2d game at heart they gotta stick to that
But if you check media molecules website they're working on next gen of play create share
So that might be the 3d you want ;)
I'm glad LBP3 is 2D, but I want the next main LBP to be 3D if it makes sense and plays well. I do hope that LBP3 has stereoscopic 3D, as I think it could look great with 16 different layers.
16 layers is more than enough no need for 3d. Now i cant wait to waste hundred's of hours in create mode.
could be interesting. however i want to see how sumo digital handle a "normal" LBP before they move on to creating a 3d one. also, LBP's core is revolved around the 2.5 nature. so dont see how it could be a real LBP game without everything basically changing.

Nah.. I think LBP is great enough in 2D! It's kinda like Yoshi's Island where a 3D version simply isn't needed!

Not a good suggestion cause local co-op screen will have to be splitted...

1. not under sumo. i'll trust them to tweak the established franchise but not to reinvent it.
2. kind of not really,.. 2D platformers are just simplier. for a community based game i think you can get more awesome 2D platformers than you'll get awesome 3D platformers. i dunno,. just my thoughts on the matter. i guess we'll see how project spark goes but when being developed by amatures i think the third dimension will be more harmful than good.
3. as someone else suggested,.. it would kill couch co-op. we have soo few of those that i'm glad we can preserve it here in lbp.
