hard to say, with Smash, Bayonetta, Hyrule Warriors (not as much this one) and then Mario Kart for it's first holiday, it very well could help move 3 mil units.

I've seen enough from the limited boost MK gave WiiU, it wasn't great.

Exactly, Mario Kart 8 mainly sold well to the current install base. It didn't really move a crap ton of Wii U consoles.
