Evolve was originally set for a worldwide release of October 21st 2014 on Microsoft Windows, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, this date has been officialy moved to February 10th 2015.

2014... The year of Delays :/

Problem is too many studios are rushing to put releases dates on in an effort to build hype. With more premature announcing going on, delays are inevitable.

That's too bad.

On the the other hand, maybe it puts it out of the shadow of Destiny, Halo MCC, and CoD for the fall/holiday.

I still figure it could've become the breakout hit of the holiday, but a February release probably nestles its way into obscurity sadly.

Hopefully some of the February games get delayed till like October 2015 cause Feb is now packed as fuck with probably more to come.

Smart move. This game was gonna sell like crap without having to go against all the heavy hitters coming this year. Now it will be able to cash in on the February dip in games and sell a little more than crap.

Plot twist: R* delays PC, PS4 and XB1 versions of GTA V to February, every other game is fucked.

I agree with Breeding Bull, was just about to write the same.
It was going to get killed in the packed October, an online only game that is basically a L4D Versus mode. This will give it less competition, nothing yet scheduled that early in 2015.

Things are looking better and better for Sunset Overdrive with each delay from the competition.
